Food Log download

If you have ever watched a TV show about finances, you may recall that they make people write down all their expenditures as a way to track where the money goes. Well, it is pretty much the same with keeping track of what you eat. If you want to figure out exactly what you are eating, this is the best method. Write everything down for 5 days. It is better to include a weekend, because sometimes eating habits change over those days. Be honest. If you think that you are an “emotional” eater, write down where you are or even how you were feeling. While it has been well documented that some people will find comfort in foods when depressed, you may be surprised to find that there is a correlation to poor eating habits and your favourite television show.

Attached are  two pdf worksheets. One is a blank food log and the other is a sample. Use it if you wish and if you like I can go over it with you.
